Neural Therapy is a holistic therapy that acts by regulating the autonomic nervous system, mainly the sympathetic nervous system.

Neural Therapy reactivates the self-regulatory capacity of the organism.

It consists of applying injections of a local anaesthetic, generally procaine, in small doses and low concentrations, at irritation points of the autonomic nervous system that trigger symptoms or illness.
What situations can alter the tone of the autonomic nervous system?

The main causes are infections, trauma, scars, inflammatory processes, emotional trauma, problems in the dental region.
What do we aim for?
The main objective of Neural Therapy is to neutralise the irritations that throughout life affect the tone of the autonomic nervous system. This is achieved with procaine injections at specific points on the body.
How does procaine work?
Procaine is a local anaesthetic, but the aim of Neural Therapy is not to anaesthetise but to stop the transmission of pathological information, whether pain, inflammation… and reactivate the self-regulatory capacity of the organism.

Indications for Neural Therapy
In Neural Therapy we treat the person, not only their diseases. The most frequent visits are for acute and chronic pain, recurrent infections, respiratory problems, anxiety and depression, infertility…

Who is Neural Therapy for?
Anyone can be treated with Neural Therapy, including children and pregnant women.

How does a Neural Therapy session work?
The most important tool in Neural Therapy is the life history. In the first part of the session, all the patient’s information is gathered; this includes infectious and inflammatory processes, scars, physical or emotional trauma, gynaecological history, dental procedures… And this life history tells us WHERE to apply the procaine injections.

How often are the sessions?
Generally, after the first visit a check-up is done at 2-3 weeks. Subsequent visits are then made at the appropriate frequency for each patient, normally every month. During this time the patient must observe and note the changes at physical, emotional and energetic levels. This information helps us greatly for the next neural therapy session.
Are there contraindications to neural therapy?
. Neural therapy is a therapy with a long tradition. Since the late 19th century it has demonstrated its safety and efficacy.
. Contraindications are practically non-existent. If there is any doubt about allergy to procaine, a prior tolerance test is carried out.
What side effects can neural therapy cause?
. Adverse reactions are extremely rare.
. Immediately after the injection a slight sensation of dizziness and lightheadedness may appear, which normalises shortly after.
