I am Pilar Pons Barro, born in Menorca in 1972. I hold a degree in Medicine and General Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1990-96). I completed the speciality in Family and Community Medicine at the Hospital del Mar and the Raval Sud health centre in Barcelona. As part of my continuing education, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Immigration, Interculturality and Health at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2005-2006). While working as a family doctor in various health centres in Barcelona and Badalona, I observed that many illnesses became chronic and that in many cases I could not help patients resolve their health problems. This led me to develop an interest in other complementary therapies that could help me better support my patients. I discovered Neural Therapy and was fascinated by it, so I decided to take the Master’s in Neural Therapy and Neurofocal Dentistry at the University of Barcelona (2009-2010). In October 2018 I participated in the III Workshop on Neuraltherapy in Munich-Erding, given by Professor Armin Reimers.
I have also received training in family and scientific Aromatherapy according to the French school, Module I and II of 42h. May 2015. Trainer: Antonia Jover Garcia.
